The Sacrament of Baptism is the first sacrament that a person receives in their faith journey. It welcomes the person into the faith, washes away sin, and represents taking on a new life in Christ.
How to receive the sacrament of Baptism
For babies and children
If you would like to organise for your child to be baptised, please contact the Parish Office to find out more and arrange a time to speak with the Parish Priest. Baptisms are usually held on the 2nd Sunday of the month by arrangement.
If you are an adult who is interested in becoming a Catholic, we encourage you to contact our Parish Priest to find out more. Adults who would like to become Catholic follow the process of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The process is a time for you to learn more about Catholicism, deepen in your faith and become more involved in the Catholic community. Please feel free to contact the Parish Office to find out more, or arrange a time to speak with the Parish Priest.
