The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament that confers grace to a person who is seriously ill. It unites the person with Christ, and gives comfort, peace and courage.

“Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.” (James 5:14-15).

The Sacrament is for any person of faith who is in danger of death from sickness or old age; it is not only for those who are at the point of death. The Sacrament involves anointing the person with oil, as well as a prayer by the priest.

If you would like to receive the sacrament, or know of someone who would, please contact the Parish Office.
